SSAMS Service’s (SSAMS) activities are undertaken with integrity, responsibility and respect for the environment and the community in which these activities take place. This entails conducting operations in an ethically and practically sound manner that minimizes risks and places high priority on the safety of those involved in SSAMS International (SSAMS) Oil & Gas and Petrochemical operations. At SSAMS International (SSAMS), we are committed to:

1. A systematic framework of hazard identification and risk assessment through which safe operations can be managed.
2. Comply with all applicable Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) laws, regulations and standards and to apply responsible standards where legislation is inadequate or does not exist.
3. Develop effective HSE management systems to identify and manage risks associated with SSAMS Service’s (SSAMS) activities by focusing on risk avoidance and prevention.
4. Ensure that partners and contractors’ policies are compliant with our own standards, and recognize that all working on our behalf can impact our operation and reputation and that we all share a common responsibility for our safety.
5. Establish accountability and responsibility for HSEQ within organizational line management.
6. Monitor and review our CSR and HSE policies and procedures on regular basis to ensure suitability and effectiveness.
7. Protect and minimize any harm to the environment in our oil and gas activities, and continuously focus on improving our environmental procedures.
8. Provide training, equipment and facilities necessary to maintain a safe and healthy worksite.
9. Support environmental protection, practice pollution prevention, and seek viable ways to minimize the environmental impact of operations, reduce waste, conserve resources and respect biodiversity.

As its policy objectives SSAMS International (SSAMS) will, as a minimum:

1. Establish transparent HSEQ performance criteria and communicate them constructively internally and to interested parties.
2. Mitigate the consequences of all types of incidents/accidents having potential harmful effect on personnel, assets and/or the environment;
3. Observe and comply with all HSEQ statutory requirements within our area of operations;
4. Use commonly accepted levels of good oilfield HSEQ practice; and

To achieve the aforementioned defined objectives, SSAMS International (SSAMS) will:

1. Conduct HSEQ reviews and audits in order to identify shortcomings within the organization and ensure compliance with local, international and corporate standards and regulations
2. Develop a positive HSEQ culture throughout the company through effective communication and training
3. Develop and implement a Risk Assessment-based approach in conducting business operations.
4. Develop and maintain an appropriate HSE Management System
5. Ensure that contractors demonstrate full compliance with this policy; and
6. Hold all levels of management, staff and contractors accountable for HSEQ within their areas of responsibility

SSAMS International (SSAMS) key safety goals are:

• To achieve no injury, lost work days or work-related illness at SSAMS International (SSAMS) sites.
• To comply with all applicable standards of the international oil industry, in addition to the International laws and regulations.
• To fully respect concerns and policies related to HSEQ in all of our decision-making processes.

These goals will require:

• All employees and contractors remain vigilant and responsible for their own safety, as well as the safety of the people around them.
• Managers at all levels are responsible and accountable for health and safety matters and for ensuring compliance with this policy statement.

To reach these goals, we must:

• Develop and follow efficient safety procedures and standards.
• Emphasize safety and health concerns both on and off work sites.
• Ensure that employees of SSAMS International (SSAMS) and contractors are properly trained to work safely and to ensure that they know how to act in an emergency.
• Identify, evaluate and mange hazards and risks involved in our operations.
• Perform a regular audit of our compliance with our safety policy.
• Report all safety related incidents, investigate and analyze the to prevent re-occurrences.

In addition, SSAMS International (SSAMS) will:

1. Ensure optimal security standards are maintained to protect personnel, company assets and information; and
2. Establish good relations with local communities based on constructive mutual dialogue with regulators, community representatives, local authorities as well as other concerned parties on HSE and security matters of common interest;
3. This policy shall be reviewed periodically to ensure continual improvement.

While offshore workers are exposed to a wide range of health and safety risks, the main priority is preventing major incidents that could result in multiple fatalities or injuries, or loss of infrastructure critical to the projects.

In recent years, many installations are working beyond their design life and falls in oil prices and some other political and armed reginal conflicts has put significant economic strains on oilfield operators in International. Controlling major accident hazards will continue to be the focus of SSAMS Service’s (SSAMS) HSE activities. SSAMS International (SSAMS) will work with principal cross-sector groups to achieve safe outcomes for all stakeholders.

• Prevent major incidents associated with the loss of containment of Oil, Gas and Petrochemicals.
• Manage the risks associated with ageing infrastructure and the failure of asset integrity, and offshore decommissioning activities.
• Improve leadership, competence and workforce involvement.

SSAMS International (SSAMS) will lead and engage with others to improve workplace health and safety by:

• Engaging with senior leadership for successful implementation of our HSEQ policies across the company.
• Improving the competence of works, supervisors and support personnel in the offshore energy sector.
• Supporting greater workforce engagement in the delivery of health and safety solutions.
• Engaging with those involved in critical field operations to improve overall management of health and safety, focusing on managing change.
